CPS #131 and a sweet and spooky tea party

Hi friends! I made some crafty time happen today and I finally got the chance to put an idea for the Tea Party set from Holly Brooke Jones at My Cute Stamps to paper. I thought the tea party hostess would be a fabulously cute little witchy girl with a few simple waves of my black, orange, purple and green magic wand. Sha-zammm! Tea party girl is a halloween hostess!

I used the CPS 131 challenge for sketch inspiration:
my card:

Now I love halloween BUT I am a total CHICKEN when it comes to the creepy crawly part of it. This cute floating witch with her precious tea set is definitely more my speed of dress up fun.

I layered this card up with the paper pieced tea party girl, black glitter accents, spider web cuttlebug embossing, tulle and self adhesive halloween ribbon.

Check out that texture-rich black glitter! I love it! Oh, and the embossed spider web is black cardstock with a light swipe of Papertrey Ink vintage cream ink over it to emphasize the web pattern.

Thanks so much for sneaking by today! May your halloween be sweet AND spooky this year!Supplies:

How sweet it is to be sparkly like you! (I've got tunes runnin' in my head right now.....:>) Love the tulle, a tea princess turned witchy, but still happy and playful, your highlighted cobweb, and yes, the sparkle a la You! :> (I'll have to show this to my little Princess in the morning...she'll love it! She's been asking for Halloween since JULY! She loves her sparkle too!) Way to rock those My Cute Stamps! :>
