Welcome to the very first Polkadot Door Inspirational Challenge and Blog Hop! I was so tickled when Rebecca from Polkadot Door contacted me with an invitation to join in their hop. Thank you ever so much Rebecca! Be sure and check out the challenge post at Polkadot Door to see all the details...there are prizes at stake so don't miss out!
POLKADOT DOOR INSPIRATION CHALLENGE
The challenge is
•Create a paper crafting project (card, layout, off-the-page item), based on provided inspiration (photo, sentiment, or element : crocheted flowers).
I chose to make a mother's day card highlighting a darling crocheted flower from CTMH. I liked the outdoor/garden look to the inspiration photo too so I tried to capture that feeling with the gorgeous butterfly paper and other embellishments. Lots of vintage-y touches on this pretty mother's day card for a special mom in my life. I love the classic pin-on corsage look the gathering of flowers and ribbon took on once I adhered everything to my card.
