Thank a Teacher

As the end of the school year nears, we will be flush with teacher appreciation days, field trip activities and even a preschool graduation. It's time to start thanking all of those educational influences in my children's lives. I am cooking up some teacher thank yous as we speak but for now, here is a VERY simple card set I made last year to thank a special teacher at our school. She is a wonderful educator and friend.

These are white A2 size note cards with ribbon and a circle punch embellishment stamped with the cutest apple. The apple is a single stamp from SU! (a past customer appreciation stamp) which I colored with Zig brush pens to get the red apple and green stem. The apples were also "shined" up with crystal effects. The circles were adhered with foam tape to give them a little lift.

I can't wait to see what everyone is doing for teacher's this year. I hope to have my own offering on that front as well soon!

Supplies:
cardstock: CM and Georgia Pacific
Stamps: SU!
Ink: Zig brush pens
Other: crystal effects and ribbon ($1 michaels)

I'm looking forward to seeing what you cook up for this year as I'm struggling a bit with two of A's teachers. I have something in mind for two of them, but still have to come up with at least two more! Oh yea....and while you're at it, could you please ask the time fairy for some more....time....please?!!! Thanks so much! :>

As a teacher, I say Thank You for appreciating us! It's so nice to be recognized! I have one parent who does some wonderful things for everyone that comes in contact with her children! These are so cute and I know they were appreciated!
