A coastal thank you

Hi all! How are you? Is it summer where you are? It is here on the Northern California coast and it's gorgeous today! Perfectly sunny with a slight coastal breeze. The actual is about a half hour drive from my house but we are surely close enough to benefit from the coastal influence on our weather. I live a lucky life :) A few weeks ago my girls and I were treated to a wonderful trip to Gilroy and Monterey, CA. My dear mother in law whisked us a way for 3 days of all girls fun! And we surely packed as much fun as we could handle in. To thank her for the amazing trip I put together an online photo album (have you ever used an online photo service to print a photo book? WOW are they fast and easy and great looking too!). Just so nobody thinks I am converting to ALL digital, I had to make a little card to go along with our photos.
This hunk of luscious sand dollar stamp is an OLDIE from PSX. The details are just wonderful and stamped in copper metallic brilliance, it's quite a stunner!

And speaking of summer fun and brilliant blue skies...check out this happy mail I received today from sweet Ann of Creative Antics?! Thank you Ann for your generosity and for intuitively knowing how much I LOVE teal blue! I can't wait to try this out. And Kaiser sparkles to boot, what more can a girl need? ....oh, well, a totally CUTE summer card made by Ann to go with. Check out Ann's blog for more great inspiration and for more summer giveaways. Thanks ANN!

These colors are perfect for a beachy card, and I love the punched edge. Sounds like you girls had a fabulous time!

Perfect beachy card! I love that ribbon you used. I saw that you had won something on the Card Patterns blog (maybe... can't remember if that was the right one)... it is always fun to get free stuff!! I just got some great stuff from Ann myself. You are so much better than me for posting it on your blog. I tore into mine right away and didn't take the time to take a pic!!
