So I altered the sketch in that I changed the offset rectangles behind the main image to circles...because I just CAN'T make offset squares look right (hee hee) AND I was trying to make this card coordinate with my gift card box that I had already made. So the sketch was the springboard for the perfect companion card!
I put the icecream cone from the My Cute Stamps Sweet Chocolate set to work here for our young friend who's turning 10! Also, my fave cuttlebug embosser, swiss dots, and the circles CB embosser which I flipped over and inked with white pigment ink to highlight the recessed areas. Looks like strawberry sherbet to me!
This is my gift ensemble! Fun huh? Oh! And I have to give credit to Rebecca Sower for the yellow gift box with a wire ribbon on the card...I had an old Fresh cuts tag from the Rebecca line that had these cute little boxes but not in the color I needed so I made one mimicking her example.
