Hi friends! I am soooo happy to be posting this card. You see, my usual technology has failed me...my PC won't boot up (ack!) and I am coming to you live from the kids computer, aka my old computer from 2001! Oh my! I am grateful to have access at all right now, but can I tell you that I have had quite a time figuring out how to edit photos, function without a working flash player, etc...really drives home how fast technology moves awhen you are not looking. Still, there are way worse things than computer failure right? So we soldier on because Christmas is coming, the CARDS blog button challenge was extended, I have a card to share and LIFE goes on. :)
So I used my five buttons for stringing into my ruffled ribbon garland for this card. Fun! Lots of lovely layers on this card. Besides the luscious garland, I am loving the damask embossing folder, the sizzix die snowflake, the vintage ornament stamp and additions from Papertrey and Dawn McVey, pearl liquid applique and GLITTER!, yes friends, the glitter!
Just a touch of red glitter goes a long way to add some real vintage looking flair here. Yum-o!
I'm so glad you could stop by today and I am so glad I was able to post something ;) Cross your fingers for me that I can figure out the other computer's problems otherwise.....oh well, no use worrying over it right? Have a goodie!

Mmmmm......Christmas, ruffles, buttons, ornaments....mmmmmmm....!! :> Ruffles...sigh....mmmm...yup, yup, loving the ruffle! (Well, okay, I love the rest of it, but the ruffle definitely has me sighing quite happily! :>)
Now, as for you computer issues...definitely not so tasty!! Here's to hoping that it turns out to not be a major headache!!!

Hey, now, and button my britches and bust my buttons! Ca-uuuuuute use of the buttons! AND glitter AND delicious embossing and ADORABLE ornament stamps! Wahoo! Way to go, sassafrass ~ this card rocks! Ala - YOU!
WOW this is BEAUTIFOL!! I love that soft look and that gathered ribbon with the buttons is so fun. The texture all of is Wonderful!! I can sympathize with the computer issue. Mine wont let me visit anyones blogs this is coming from my work. :) :)
