Woooowheeee! It's christmas eve! How did that get here? Between dodging colds and flus and some home construction, we still managed a few areas of Christmas cheer here at the homestead. I thought I'd record a few of them here on the ol blog-o
The girls' 12 days of christmas gifts all lined up ready to go 12 days ago. They sang every day for a gift from this stash.
My vintage and thrift store christmas sideboard. With the exception of the jar candle, it's all second hand and a couple treasures from my childhood.
I made the angels one years as a gift when I was in college and mr snowman candle went for years un lit at my parent's place and somehow made it to my home. He's a little warped from storage in the loft and one year, he got so warm up in the loft that his back melted flat! It's OK, he's still a cutie.
Thirft store glass ornaments to the tune of 5 and 10 cents a piece arranged in grandma's pedestal bowl
More glass ornaments in the bathroom..I call this the blue collection ;) along with some favorite finger tip towels from a dear friend.
The banner was made for me by my dear Traci and that cool metal pinecone is from her sweet parents. In the tray is this year's collection of handmade ornaments from the girls and our collection of holiday cards. Lots of photo cards this year, which I love. THey are held in an old wooden cheese box that has "cheese factory" stamped on the front which I think is hilrious...because it holds lots of photos....and we always say "say cheese" wen we take pictures...Ok, silly I know but I think it's lovely irony. :)
We have more stuff outside...I'll have to snap some picture sof that later. Happy Christmas eve all! Wishing you peace and joy this year!
