I met Karen IRL on a mystery scrapbook retreat back in 2005. We were roommates and had never met before but fell into an easy chatter of story telling given our many common interests (papercrafting, the 80's...music, big hair and all, kids, graduating from high school in 93, etc). Karen and I and several lovely ladies, including blogging sister Elise of Mamacow Creations, have formed amazing friendships that have gone above and beyond the occasional retreat to real world friendships and get-togethers. If you are wondering if Karen is as sweet, thoughtful, intelligent and creative IRL as she appears on her blog....well the answer is emphatically Y-E-S! I would love it if you ran over to Karen's blog to wish her a happy birthday and get to know this wonderful person who is full of spirit and heart.
