Just Us Girls #20 Technique challenge....split negative tags

It's saturday and time for a challenge with Just Us Girls!  This time we are showcasing the Split Negative technique.
For detailed instructions, check out this fab tutorial on SCS and then give it a try for a truly unique result.
I chose an element from the Simply Stationery set from Paperty Ink to stamp on creme and chocolate papers.  After adhering the halves together, I detail cut around the image for my tag centerpiece.  This was adhered to the painted and glittered chipboard heart from Want 2 Scrap with foam pop dots.  This glorious chipboard is very sturdy and can take paint without losing it's precisely cut edges.  The chipboard is adhered with liquid glue to the embossed creme cardstock.  A bit of ribbon ties this tag to an organdy gift sack with a candle inside.  The perfect little gifty for a friend or as a shower favor.
Here are a handful ready to go for a special gathering of friends this weekend!  Yay for girlfriend time!  Speaking of great gals, how about the Just Us Girls DT?  Look for more inspiration on their blogs:

Ok friends, have a great and creative weekend!  Thanks so much for stopping by today!
