Life is Lovely {kum ba yah}....JUGs 47, the Shabby Tea Room and a GIVEAWAY!

Hey there!  Glad you could Kum Ba Yah {which translates according to Wikipedia as "come by here"!  }  Isn't life LOVELY?  Maybe even DE-Lovely?!! Oh boy!  Here I go again with the DE-isms but I just can't help it!  This Cosmo Cricket paper, Delovely, made me do it! ;)

So, are you ready to make something with Just Us Girls?  How about with the Shabby Tea Room gals?  Check out the inspiration pictures...

*sigh* don't you love the fluffy goodness of the Tea Room challenge inspo picture?  I love it!  It's so soothing, BUT, I decided to kick it some sassiness with the sizzling Just Us Girls color combo this week!

Cosmo Cricket has declared Life Is Lovely here with one of their cute Elements and I just have to agree!  The cute bird print is cut from the same sheet of elements.  I also added some of the hot pink floral DP from the same Delovely line.  Where to next?  I hit my vintage stuff stash and pulled out an old sheet music book (kum ba yah!  It's been stuck in my head all day...now it can be stuck in yours! tee hee), seamstress pins, scrunched seam binding and some pearl studded lace.
Last but not least, a treasured bloom cut from a strip of Webster's Bloomers!  I adorned the center of the bloomer with some floral design stamens from the wedding department of Michaels.  I have to admit the Bloomers have been in residence here for several months but I just couldn't bear to cut into them!  I know, you all understand.  Well, hoard no more, I have made the first snip and *LOVE*!  Do you love bloomers?  Do you want some?
I have this set to giveaway to one lucky commentor!  If you want a chance at these, please leave me a comment in this post....want a second chance?  Leave a second comment and tell me you Follow me.  It would be my honor to have you in my Follower list and I want to give you a second entry for these bloomers as my thanks!

Ok folks, let's get crafting with the JUGs and Tea Room gals.  Be sure and check out my Just Us Girls teammates listed in the side bar and also our special guest designer for the month of August, Jo, the Crafty Nomad!  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great one!

What an adorable card, Dana! I really like how you've combined these two challenges. They make for a very eye catching combination. Love the De-Lovely goodies you used, and I adore you use of the Webster's Pages Bloomer. I know what you mean about cutting into them! I want to use them, but don't want to use them up. ;) Have you seen the peeks at the new colors, by the way???
Thanks for playing along with us at TSTR.
