Shabby Tea Room Guest Designer!

Hello friends!  It's my honor to guest design in the Shabby Tea Room today!  Have you been there?  Do you KNOW the Shabby Tea Room?  Oh ya gotta!  The girls in the tea room are super crafty and super sweet.  It's one of my favorite challenge sites and this week they have another gorgeous inspiration photo....
How about it?  Are you feeling GREEN?  This makes me *sigh* with the cool and clear feeling of being outside in a gorgeous garden.  I love the touches of comfort lent by the use of a pitcher for a garden planter.  Too sweet!  I headed to my craft room to gather up some greens and this is what I came up with....
To me, all these layers of yummy green goodness feels like home!  (My friend Elise will tell you I live in a stampin up "certainly celery" colored house ;)) and in honor of my hubs...the crown!  He loves to push my buttons by calling me "Queenie" whenever I am in a huff, and secretly, don't tell him, I actually enjoy being "Queen" of our castle...as much as he enjoys being "King"!  LOL!
THe gorgeous trims and fabric scraps came from a local craft thrift store called The Legacy (check out below all the goodies I purchased at their half price sale last week!).  Love love love the Legacy!  It is a virtual playground for trims and other sewing notions.  The regal crown stamp fit for a QUEEN is from Lost Coast Designs and the paper lace doily (love!) was cut with Cricut + SCAL using a cut file from Mari's Cutting Files.  Green pearl bling from Want 2 Scrap finished off the embellies on this one.  Now how about some Legacy eye candy?

OOOOOOOOOH!  (vintage lace and trim!)

EEEEEEEEEEEE!   (seam binding, bells, ric rac, poms, beads, zipper, thread Oh MY!)

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!  (vintage plastic buttons!)

See?  a virtual playground I tell ya!

Well friends,  thanks so much for coming by today.  I hope you'll join the Shabby Tea Room and I this week for a GREEN-alicious challenge!

That card is gorgeous! And the lace and trims are so cool! I love it. Thanks for the link to the site with cut files. I just bought a Cricut and SCAL last weekend and have been looking for some good sites to get files.

I don't know HOW the heck I missed this fabulous post, pre-your big ADVENTURE! But since I'm stalking you... looking for crumbs from THE BIG RETURN - thought I'd just say "Haaaaayyyyyyy!" Nice ruffles, lady! hee hee No, seriously! This is SUCH a "Dana" card and I mean that in every glittery, perfectly festooned piece of wonderfulness! Can't WAIT to see you back in action after your terrific adventure!

{Not pressure, though! *wink!*}

Love YA!
