Just Us Girl #58 Sketch Merry Christmas T!m!

Woohoo!  It's saturday and time for a fun sketch challenge with Just Us Girls!  Check out the great sketch from our talented Andrea this week!

Sooo very cute right?  I decided to pull out some treasured Tim Holtz Christmas Stamps because guess what?  I am taking a road trip with girlfriends today to take classes with THE T!m Holtz, the man himself!  How cool is that!??!!  I am a little excited, oh yeah, you could say that!

I stamped the great collage Tim Holtz stamp with black staz on and then swirled red and evergreen inks over sections of the images.  Chestnut Roan ink for aging the edges too.  I hit up my christmas mini ornament stash for the small glittery snowflake and left the silver metallic hanger string on it to resemble the line in the sketch.  I was able to easily make my buttons match the snowflake with a little glitter and glue!

Layering up ribbon and trims is one of my favorite types of accents.  Today I have some cotton crochet lace, ball trim and a pre gathered red ribbon.  A tiny touch of red bling in the snowflake center was just the thing opposite that strong red gathered ribbon.

Ready for some more sketch creativity?  Be sure and check out Just Us Girls and all of the DT members' blogs for project details.  Also, be sure and check out the fabulous designs of our November guest designer, Cheryl Rowley. Thanks so much for coming by today!
