YOU are the MOST graceful, strong, proud and sensational of creatures. You have more class, on your worst day, than many have in a pinky nail. YOU, and, your dear family, are such an example of quite fortitude, and grace, and I am in complete admiration.
I am delighted that you've shared your dad and his memory in such a proud and beautiful way. It's an anniversary, no one wants to celebrate, but no one should forget. To NOT celebrate, in a sense,is beneath this fine man and your deep loss. This picture made me smile, my friend. For that, I do celebrate. I celebrate the brief time "I" knew him, but ALSO the sum of his fine work and love that created a great family and produced YOU. Getting to know the extended clan and understanding some of the vast and AMAZING local {and INTERNATIONAL heritage!} that makes you, you.... has been a gift for me.
His legacy is not lost and his goodness will never be forgotten. I'm proud, absolutely proud to think of him, today, not by deep wounds of his absence, but by the glorious bounty of the life he lived....
THANK YOU, for sharing this, my dear, dear, DELIGHTFUL friend...
Dana~ Even tho it's been a year, I'm sorry for your loss. My dad just passed away on Dec. 18th and it's been rough. My mom is really struggling with it, but the pain seems to ease a little every day. I've been told the grieving period is a year...how could the grieving ever stop? My dad was only 66 and just too young! Just wanted to you know that I'm thinking of you...
Sending (((HUGS))) your way Dana. You have been so strong and so there for you family. The best tribute to your dad is You. I am fortunate to know you and thankful that your dad is part of the duo who brought you into this world.

What an amazing man. It's hard to believe it's been a year. Stay strong and wrap the memories around you like a hug.
