Just Us Girls #97 Altered Notebook challenge

Hey Just Us Girls Fans!  Fabulous Maria has challenged us to alter a notebook.  I snatched up a small size at my local Walgreens for 20 cents and set about making it my own!

I used a few of my favorite  Elements from the Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday line...I went for elements that said "get 'er done and still have fun".  I think it's a good idea to keep that ever growing to-do list in perspective so I inked up a Leavenworth Jackson stamp reminding me that if it doesn't have "meaning" I need to re-evaluate whether or not it belongs on my list! ;)

Button and baker's twine closure are a good way to keep this little book closed up while it tumbles around in my purse!

The back cover is for those times when my hair seems to be standing on end and my TWO children seem more like 20 children...."work with me people"!!!!  Just keeping it light and real....

Check out the artistic stylings of my fellow JUG-sters and then join us!

And did you know our very own Pammycakes is celebrating her birthday??  Yep it's true!  Be sure and leave Pam a little birthday love when you visit her this week ok?

Alright bloggies, catch you on the flip side!  Have a great one!Photobucket

Aaaaack! THIS is beyond inspirational! First, cause I know how wonderfully you keep your notebooks, second - because that PAPER never gets old, THIRD - because ANYTHING tied off with Baker's Twine is PRECIOUS! And FOURTH - because I'm such a fan of ANYTHING made by lovely YOU! Additionally, could you have called together any better graphics to commemorate our lovely Pammy-Cakes - ? I think NOT! I might love her almost as much as G.A. in her yellow kitchen! {!} xoxoxo!

So very cute! And I love the thought behind your To Do's needing meaning. Something we all should remember. I love an altered notebook & it looks like you've got a great one to help keep you on track! :> (Though, I know you do great at that, with or without a nifty notebook!!! :>)
