Card Patterns #24 and Moxie bag lady...{Brand New}

Just in time! I had to join in on the card patterns sketch again this week and was inspired by the Moxie Bag Lady challenge too! The Cosmo Cricket Honey Pie collection was perfect for some paper patchwork. So perfect in fact that you almost can't tell that I cut all those 1x1 inch squares and individually sewed them on my paper quilted piece! Oh well. LOL!

the inspirations:

my project:

I wanted to fit both the "Brand New" label and the cutie chick as the accent element so I flipped the sketch to a horizontal orientation. And then LOTS of stitching and pinking sheers! FUN!
Thanks for stopping by :)
Supplies:
Paper: Cosmo Cricket and Papertrey Ink
felt trim: Cosmo Cricket
ribbon: Papertrey Ink
Other: sewing machine

WOWZERS Dana!! Yup, yup, definitely inpiring me here!!! Whoa. Your stitching is just rocking the Moxie. If I didn't know that this was {paper} crafting, I would want to cuddle up with that quilt! You really made both challenges, in the words of Ellen on So You Think You Can Dance, S-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-NG!!! Oh my happy place continues visiting friends and their crafty creations...yippie!! :>
