Blog Hop with Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs...{the perfect pumpkin}

Happy Friday bloggers!  Today I'm blog hopping with the fabulous hybrid designers of Kelleigh Ratlaff Designs! I've used the brand new Perfect Pumpkin template for my project and guess what?  After checking out all of the gorgeous projects from the team, be sure to head over to Kelleigh's blog so you can leave a comment and have a chance to WIN the perfect pumpkin template.

So let's talk pumpkin, shall we?  Here she is, this sweet little squash of paper.  :)  Speaking of paper, the designer paper is from the brand new digital kit over at The Digichick Boutique, called Every Life has a Story.  This kit is a wonderful collaborative kit from several designers at TDC.  Check it out... all of the elements and papers are gorgeous!  So I printed a DP on one side of my cardstock and Kelleigh's template on the other side and started to work.

Metallics are all the rage right?  Well forget handbags and shoes, it's all about the papercraft embellishments!  LOL  The copper "studs" are made from fabric paint!  I REALLY wanted to go crazy and do my whole pumpkin with them, but, maybe next time. ;)

Stacked buttons make the perfect stem.  I just threaded them onto craft wire and then added some copper vines by twisting more wire around a pencil.  All of the copper wires are twisted together into a stem, the silk leaf was threaded on the wire stem and then the stem was inserted into the top of the pumpkin.

Since I plan to use my pumpkin as a decoration, I went ahead and glued the top to the bottom.  It's now happily nestled among the fall foliage on top of my dining area side board.  *sigh* I love autumn!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Happy friday to you!  Be sure and cruise on by the designer blogs above for a creative boost today.
