Just Us Girls #12 Color Challenge...It's your day

This post is going live on Friday December 18 if you are on Pacific time like me and I have to share that my girl is NINE today!  *gasp* How did that happen?!!  It's also new challenge day at the Just Us Girls blog and Tracey has picked the perfect colors to make a card for my daughter's birthday!  Thanks for the inspiration Tracey!

Aren't those pop colors of raspberry, red and green just so HAPPY on the kraft?  Love this combo Tracey!  The whole JUGs team went over the top with creativity on this color challenge!  You will definitely want to check them out!

We hope you'll join us with our color challenge this week.  It is a fun one!  Be sure and link us up with the Mr Linky at the JUGs site.  Can't wait to see what you make and I surely hope you are enjoying the magic of the holidays.

First of all, Happy Birthday to your nine-year-old! They do grow up fast, don't they?

Dana, this is such a perfect card for your sweet daughter! Don't they grow a little too fast? Right before our eyes but to the point that we don't even realize how the time is flying by until we have a reality check like a birthday! Cherish this time with her, my friend. Before you know it, she will know everything and want less to do with parents and more to do with her friends :[

Your card is unique and fun, just as I would expect from my ultra creative and talented friend, Dana! You always have such great meaning in your projects...if one just stops and really looks. Love that you added ledger paper and circled the 9...so subtle yet significant. Those gorgeous butterflies that you gave dimension with white ink are the perfect main focus to accompany your ruffled ribbon and the fun color palette! This turned out so beautifully, Dana! I'm sure your daughter will cheris it and I hope she hangs onto it forever :]

Have a great weekend, girly!
