Just Us Girls #66 Envy of Envies with Gina K!

Happy Saturday!  Are you ready for some fun wiith Just Us Girls?  Today is a special day because we have a very special treat for you. Gina K Designs is sponsoring this week's challenge. Pam has challenged us to use a technique called Envy of the Envies (envelopes that is!).  It's time to give attention to the envelopes who hold our beautiful cards right?

Here's the 3 part challenge,
1. Make a card – no specs on this but if you have Gina K stamps we'd LOVE to see them :-)
2. Decorate your envelope to match/coordinate with your card and
3. Finally, for this challenge we also want you to create a liner for your envelope to coordinate with your card. Gina K has a great tutorial showing this technique http://stamptv.ning.com/video/lining-your-envelopes

I had the privelage of working with Tea Time.  It has the CUTEST tea party images!  I couldn't resist this *sweet* cupcake stand image for my focal point.

YUM!  I frosted my cupcakes with fruit punch stickles and pearl pink fabric paints.  All of the colors I used to color this image were pulled from the designer paper I chose.
I also added some sophisticated  texture with Want 2 Scrap baby bling in leCreme
I loved dressing up my plain envelope with some DP and CUTE stamps.  I hope you'll be able to join us in this fun challenge.  Be sure and link us up with both card and your envelope! Oh!  And guess what?  We will be giving away a Gina K stamp set to one lucky randomly selected participant who follows all of the challenge requirements!

Be sure and stop by all of the design team blogs along with our guest, Carla Suto, for great ideas with Gina K stamps.  Speaking of our DT, we are bidding a fond farewell to our sweet and talented Alicia....Alicia is turning her energies to the highest purpose of family and I wish her every good thing!

Thank you for stopping by here, I so appreciate you!  Have a great one!

Oh my crafty little friend, Dana. You whipped up an ADORABLE card and matching envelope! Love the fresh palette and the unique, pleated ribbon around your oval panel. So clever. Also adore how you decorated and lined your envelope. Brilliant idea to photograph the flap folded back to showcase both sides! Wish I had thought of that :]
