Nestabling™ Week with Scrap-Mart and Want2Scrap™

Hello and thank you for joining us for our very first Nestabling™ week! Designers from both Scrap-Mart.com and Want2Scrap™ have teamed up to bring you a week long mini blog hop full of beautiful projects featuring Nestabling™ by Want2Scrap™. If you are just joining us, hop on over to the Scrap-Mart Blog and start there. Before we get started with the projects, we’d like to send a special thanks to Want2Scrap™ for their generous donation of Nestabling™ for all of the designers to work with.

I decided to use the Want2Scrap™ Nestabling™Heart Circles Hot Pink Rhinestones to assemble a fun rosette to celebrate the fabulous people in your life.  Whether it be a special friend's birthday or maybe something fun for a bachelorette/girls night out, the absolutely sizzling hot pink of this Nestabling™ makes this rosette spring to life.

I assembled my rosette using several different layers.  By keeping my Nestabling™ on the clear acetate lining, I was able to hold it over several items to judge sizing and placement.  To my delight, the largest ring of Nestabling™ fit perfectly to a small doily in my stash!  The top medallion on my rosette was made using a stamped and die cut circle with loops of ribbon glued to the back and protruding from the edges and the two inner ring sizes of Nestabling™.   Time to assemble....

*tip* for those of you out there who love Papertrey Ink's Raspberry Fizz paper and matching accessories, the Want2Scrap™ "hot pink" products are a perfect match which is quite a great thing as I love Raspberry Fizz!  Check out all the yummy layers in this rosette and how the sparkly Nestabling™ pulls the hot pink from the back of the piece all the way to the front.

A final parting shot of an easy way to finish off the back of your rosettes.  A simple scalloped circle die cut in pretty designer paper from Cosmo Cricket does the trick.

Thanks so much for stopping by to see my project.  I hope you are able to keep hopping along with us this week!
