    Wilson Designs April Release Day!

It's release day at Wilson Designs Stamps!  We are excited to introduce the "Glam Squad" stamp set today in all it's fabulous-ness!  Keep scrolling for an image of the complete set...

I chose the purse image today.  This stamp is P-E-R-F-E-C-T for paper piecing with it's open design,  I stamped the purse onto cute polka dotted paper and then detail cut.  I stamped again directly onto the pre-printed label card and then layered the stamped and cut purse body onto the image.  Chipboard letters were colored using a glittery green color of Smooch(this is some cool stuff!) and then some of the new bling from Want2Scrap that comes in long strips (LOVE that!).

Folded and adhered cardstock makes a cute wallet to tuck in a gift card or some cold hard cash for the recipient.  Super quick and easy gift to give with *style*!  Ready for the whole stamp set?????

Here it is... GLAM SQUAD from Wilson Designs Stamps!  Cute right?!???

You can purchase this set or other sets on the website HERE priced at $12.99. Run don't walk because the first person to order this set gets next month's set for free!
Also, don't forget WD Stamps is giving Glam Squad away to one lucky commenter. Don't forget to comment on all of the DT blogs to have a chance at winning this one for FREEEEE!
    and don't forget me ;)
Good luck and thanks for hanging out with me this week!

Card Quickies and some doily fun!

Hey friends!  A little while back I posted some quick mini gift cards  I made using Want2Scrap bling, Wilson Designs, Papertrey Ink and My Cute Stamps.  I love using these little cards for the many birthday parties my girls are lucky enough to attend and are often made *just before* the mad dash out of the house to their friend's birthday bash.

Many times I let the wrapping paper or gift bag dictate my color and theme choices making these cards even quicker than usual.  The cool guitar from Wilson Designs is a go to easy choice for boy gifts.

These adorable eye glasses and typewriter inspired sentiment are from the same set as the guitar.  You can find it here Let's Rock.  You KNOW I can't resist adding google eyes, right?!

.....and....for no reason at all other than seeing this on the internet (check out Charlotte's tutorial) and needing to just DO this to a couple of my doilies.....

doilies + food coloring + a wee bit of water =

Yum, YUM, yumminess!!!!  These will be coming to a craft project near you soon, I'm pretty sure I won't be able to resist using these for long!

Thanks for coming by!  I'll be back tomorrow with a new sketch challenge with Just Us Girls!

What do you think?  Exciting, I know!!!  For my project today, I started with some amazing products from all three companies and a fabric gift card sack from Anthropologie!  The gift bag led the charge on color choices and theme.

I thought JustRite Stampers Spread your Wings cling set would be so cute against the floral design of the gift sack. I also used the Vintage Ovals Labels cling set to fill the background of my circle cut Nestabilities layered tag and the finishing touches were made with Want2Scrap™  Nestabling Petite Scalloped Circle Sm Gold Rhinestones and 72 Count - Sage Green Pearls - Self Adhesive.

I helped myself to a handful of trims from my stash to make a fun and frilly tied topper for my tag.  Love me a little frill...don't you?

    Quickie "You're Sweet" tag

Hello lovelies!  Just a quickie post with a quickie package tag I made on the run a couple weekends ago for my daughter's sweet friend.  A coordinating colored tag a top a gift wrapped package makes me smile.  For extra "girlie"  I tied the tag on with curling ribbon, satin ribbon and tulle.
The stamp is a Studio G $1 stamp from Micheals, plus vintage sheet music paper and some penwork with Zig markers. Sweet and simple... and hey, I'm a realist, I know this is going to last only as long as the paper stays on the gift!  ;)

    Thanks for stopping by!
