Inspired by Inspire Me #3 and Cards blog challenge

Where, oh where, have I been?  Under a rock? No, too uncomfortable.  Passed out from too much trick or treating?  Ummm, maybe!  Making chicken soup for sick kiddo?  Yes, indeed, as requested.  Whatever the reason, I have been unable to make much lately and I miss my stuff!  You all know what I mean.  SO I was bound and determined to try out this new challenge by the super talented, Dawn of Stamp Away with Me, thanks to the suggestion of my friend, Elise of Mamacow Creations.  And I loved the notion of making something with book print as described here at the Cards blog.

my project:

A little vintage book print twisted into a flower, some tea stained lace, vintage cream ink, scallop punch and moraccan screen embossing envelope all spells "card" to me :) OH!  And I don't yet have any razzleberry so I had to make a substitution :(

I DO love so love a challenge or two to get me back in the swing of things!  Thanks so much for stopping by today!

That flower is to DIE for! You have to tell me how you did that! I am so envious of the delicate gorgeous vintage style you have pulled off here. It is one genre that I have the hardest time with.

Thanks so much for playing and for the inspiration!!

Ack! Too pretty! Too wonderful! That flower! Atop sheer ribbon! Atop tea stained lace! Swoon. Sigh. Oh no! I'm out again!

If making chicken soup for your sick wee one brings about this....make it every day, I say! I always love how well you managed to mix modern and vintage into one, combine paper and textiles (I'm including ribbon and lace in this category), and create something that each time I look at, I discover something new! Way to go, Dana! :>:>

Okay, so I've seen top note used.. well, a LOT! But I cannot, ever, recall being soooooo dazzled by it's beauty.. This is one of the most scrumptious cards I've seen in a long, long time. You've simply outdone yourself, m'dear!
