Just Us Girls #49 Sketch....for someone special

Hey friends!  Time for some sketch fun with Just Us Girls!  Check it out..

 Cool huh?  Here's my translation...

This card was made to order for someone special.  I've been a little "floral" lately and this card is no exception!  The large pink flower is rolled fabric (Courtney Baker has a great video tutorial for making these HERE)and the paper flowers are Prima.  Lace is from a local thrift store and the DP is "thrift shop" from October Afternoon :)

The scroll frame chipboard has been painted with acrylic paint and stamped with chesnut roan chalk ink in a gorgeous script from Stampin Up!  The cutie pie bee is from the same set called Botanicals.  I think this is a retired set, but, in my book, it's a classic and it's not going anywhere!  Kinda like Wonderful Wings!

OK, ready to get creating?  Be sure and check out all the JUGs girls listed in my sidebar and our September Guest Designer, Lynn Mangan!  Welcome Lynn, we are so excited to have your creativity this month as our guest designer.

In the spirit of the Old Meets New challenge from The Shabby Tea Room, here's my list of old and new items:
New:
Thrift Shop DP
Want 2 Scrap bling

Old:
Botanicals stamp set
silk flower leaves
salvaged pink fabric
lace
prima flowers
brads
buttons
chipboard
Hmmm...I guess this is telling of what has been living in my stash for a while!  Great challenge girls!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Okay, think I've got my wits about me now...think. You did that on purpose, didn't you?! You just had to know there would be some serious swooning...oh heck, all out drooling...over that gorgeous floral ensemble with that beauty of a rolled fabric flower with pearl center focal point...right?! Love. Swoon. Drool. Happy sighs.... :>:>
